Last updated: 14 July 2026 · COM-PRIVACY-2026-07-14
This Privacy Policy explains how Singing Attitude Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects and uses personal data when you visit singingattitude.com, contact us, create an account, or purchase online services.
Contact: hello [at] singingattitude.com
1. Who is responsible for your data
Data Controller: Singing Attitude Ltd
Email: hello [at] singingattitude.com
2. What personal data we collect
We may collect:
• Identity & contact data: name, email address, phone number (if provided)
• Account data: login identifiers and portal messages you send/receive
• Booking/service data: selected service, timezone, temporary reservation, appointment and recovery status, package credits, attendance, and notes you share for coaching purposes
• Payment data: payment status, invoices/receipts, and transaction IDs (processed by Stripe; we do not store full card details)
• Consent and preference data: Terms and Privacy versions accepted, optional photo/video/audio/testimonial permissions, optional marketing choice, and later preference changes or withdrawals
• Technical data: IP address, device/browser info, cookies and similar tech (see Cookie Policy)
• Communications data: emails and messages you send us, support requests
3. How we use your data (purposes)
We use personal data to:
• provide and administer lessons, assessments, packages, vouchers, memberships, and your portal account
• show real availability, create and release temporary reservations, verify paid appointments, recover booking failures, and administer later package bookings
• take and verify payments, prevent fraud, and keep accounting records
• keep append-only evidence of required service-term acceptance and separate optional preferences
• respond to enquiries and provide support
• send service emails (e.g., confirmations, reminders, changes)
• send marketing messages only where permitted (e.g., you opted in), and you can unsubscribe at any time
• maintain, secure, and improve our website and services
4. Legal bases (UK GDPR)
We rely on:
• Contract: to provide services you purchase and manage your account
• Legitimate interests: to run and improve our business, keep the site secure, and respond to enquiries (balanced against your rights)
• Consent: for optional promotional media reuse, optional cookies and marketing where required
• Legal obligation: for tax/accounting and compliance requirements
5. Who we share data with
We may share data with trusted providers who help run our services, for example:
• Stripe (payments)
• Cal.com (availability, temporary reservations, online appointments and booking changes)
• Supabase (database/authentication, user portal data)
• Hosting/CDN (e.g., Netlify/Vercel) to serve the website
• Email delivery provider (for confirmations, notifications, support emails)
• Security/anti-spam providers (e.g., human verification on forms)
We share only what’s necessary and require appropriate safeguards via contracts where applicable.
6. International transfers
Some providers may store or process data outside the UK/EEA (e.g., in the USA). Where this happens, we use appropriate safeguards (such as contractual protections) designed to protect your data.
7. Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary:
• Enquiries: typically up to 12 months after last contact
• Account data: while your account is active and for up to 24 months after closure, except where a longer period below applies
• Purchase, payment, booking, entitlement, webhook, Terms-acceptance, consent and permission-change audit records: seven years from the relevant transaction or event
• Marketing contact data: until you withdraw or object; we may retain a minimal suppression record so that we continue to honour the withdrawal
• Routine technical logs: normally up to 12 months, unless they are needed longer to investigate security, fraud, a dispute or a legal obligation
Retention may be longer if needed to resolve disputes or comply with legal obligations.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
• access your data
• correct inaccurate data
• delete data (where applicable)
• restrict or object to processing
• data portability
• withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent)
To exercise rights, contact hello [at] singingattitude.com.
9. Marketing preferences
If you opt in to marketing, you can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in emails or by contacting us.
Optional media and marketing choices are separate from the service Terms. Declining them does not block a purchase. A media preference does not itself authorise automatic publication. Where the portal preference route is available, you may add, narrow or withdraw optional media preferences for future use. We will stop new use under a withdrawn permission as soon as reasonably practicable and normally within 30 days. Withdrawal does not cancel a paid service or booking. It does not automatically require recall of material already lawfully published, although we will consider reasonable removal requests for channels we control. The technical record remains append-only for seven years so the history of the choice and withdrawal is auditable.
You may withdraw marketing permission at any time using an unsubscribe link, the available account controls or by contacting us. We will stop optional marketing after the withdrawal is processed while retaining a minimal suppression record.
Private processing of a Video Feedback upload that is necessary to deliver the purchased feedback is part of the service and is not the same as optional permission to reuse that material for promotion.
10. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies on singingattitude.com and singingattitude.uk. See our Cookie Policy for the specific disclosed tool list and how to manage preferences.
11. Children
Our services may be used by students under 18 with parent/guardian consent. If you believe a child has provided data without appropriate consent, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
12. Complaints
If you are in the UK, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). We’d appreciate the chance to resolve concerns first—please contact us at hello [at] singingattitude.com.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows when changes were made.
